Hupomeno Defined: Greek, verb -- meno, "to abide," is rendered "to endure" in the KJV of John 6:27 and 1 Pet. 1:25 (RV, "abideth"); Heb. 10:34, KJV, "enduring (substance)," RV, "abiding."; hupomeno, a strengthened form of meno, denotes "to abide under, to bear up courageously" (under suffering), Matt. 10:22; 24:13; Mark 13:13; Rom. 12:12, translated "patient"; 1 Cor. 13:7; 2 Tim. 2:10,12 (KJV, "suffer"); Heb. 10:32; 12:2-3,7; Jas. 1:12; 5:11; 1 Pet. 2:20, "ye shall take it patiently." For me personally, it means when going through trials and tribulations, I choose to bear up courageously under the watchful, loving care of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Serving notice..........

Okay, I have read time and time again about my Facebook buddies spending time at the beach this summer. I am serving notice that this time next summer, I'll be adding my name to the "I'm going to the beach" list!!!! And, it's not so much about the sand, the sun, or the water...........it's about the adventure, it's about freedom, it's about being able to GO again!!!!

I have a dear friend who lives at the beach and I used to go visit several times a year. Life got really busy and crowded with trials and tribulations and I began packing on the pounds and became more and more immobile and reluctant to do any traveling where steps and unknown terrain were involved. Basically, my life have gotten very small. It's been a very long time since I've left town for anything except something work-related or going to visit family who live close by.

Tonight, I am making the CHOICE to continue making choices in the coming days, weeks, and months to enable me to be able to make the choice to GOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Yep, the choice is mine and I'm choosing to go to the beach next summer!!!!
